Join us for a special evening as we present a screening of Into the Dark, the acclaimed short film directed by Fiona Otway.
For over a decade, photographer Pete Mauney has spent summer nights in remote landscapes documenting the fleeting beauty of fireflies. Through long-exposure photography, he reveals the magic hidden within the darkness.
Following the screening and Q&A with Pete Mauney and filmmaker Fiona Otway, guests are invited to join Pete for a guided firefly walk.
Fiona Otway is an award-winning filmmaker and editor whose work explores transformation, curiosity, and our relationship to the world around us. Pete Mauney is a photographer whose firefly images have been featured by NPR, Wired, Chronogram, and Colossal, and are held in collections including the Morgan Library.
