Columbia & Greene County Veteran Stand Down
Join Greene and Columbia Counties for the 2026 Veteran Stand Down at Historic Catskill Point on May 2, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This community event is dedicated to supporting local veterans by providing access to essential services in one convenient location. Attendees can receive medical screenings, haircuts, clothing, personal care items, and assistance with veteran benefits, employment, and housing. A free pancake breakfast and lunch will be provided, creating a welcoming environment for veterans to connect with each other, local organizations and resources. Open to all veterans, this event reflects a shared commitment to those who have served and community in the Great Northern Catskills.
