Athens Cultural Center Closing Reception: Animal Bodies

Join Athens Cultural Center for First Friday: Animal Bodies, a closing reception on August 7th from 5-7pm celebrating the work of artists Elana Herzog, Jean Shin, and Brigitta Váradi. Curated by Yasmeen Siddiqui, this exhibition explores the relationships between textile arts, landscapes, and the connections we share with the natural world.

Through fabric, pattern, and mixed-media installations, the artists transform familiar materials into thoughtful reflections on history, movement, and the ways humans and animals coexist within shared environments.
