Catskill Mountain Shakespeare

Gather with us outdoors and under our tent for Catskill Mountain Shakespeare’s 4th Season of As You Like It. 

Follow two of Shakespeare’s most enchanting heroines, Rosalind and Celia, as they escape the austere world of the court in search of freedom in the Forest of Arden. Once there, they are swiftly entangled in a comedy of romance, disguise, and friendship. This beloved play asks us some of life’s greatest questions and is full of live music, laughter, and some of Shakespeare’s most beautiful language. A comedy for all ages — both accessible and relatable — AYLI explores what it means to love, make a fool of yourself, and rebel against ‘The Man’.

Our production runs July 15 - 30 behind The Red Barn at 7970 Main Street in Hunter, NY; 7:30pm Evenings / 2:00pm Matinees. Tickets are $35 Adults / $20 Students. Need based discounts are available.

Our season also includes a Pay What You Can performance, an Opening Night Celebration, our 2nd annual LGBTQ+ Midsummer Social, a ‘Relaxed’ Performance with childcare, a community Book Club, farmers’ markets pop-ups, and FREE acting workshops.
