PERFORMANCES: Saturdays March 14, 21 & 28

Saturday March 14th ~ 6-10pm - Opening night

Dance performance with Francesca Avani & Laura Scarlett: In this movement-centered exhibit, Francesca Avani draws on 14 years of fusion belly dance and waving, inspired by liquid and animation styles, to create fluid, wordless expression. Joined by Laura Scarlett, the performance reflects the subtle awakening of early spring—capturing emergence and change through intertwined movement.

Short essay film by Adam Golub & Sylvaine Alfaro: 'Yes, A Pestilence' - In the Spring of 2020, in a vacant post-pandemic landscape, a strange visitor to America wanders the land and mourns and rejoices at what she sees.

Dance rite with Summer Minerva: “ritual movement we gather in connection seen, unseen beings “

Poetry Recitation & Sound Set with Sappho’s Ironic Music Machine: Sapho's Ironic Music Machine features a rotating lineup of musicians backing the spoken word pieces written and performed by Natalie Boburka. Her partner, Ted Boburka, adds depth with drums, synthesizers, and electric guitar layered with effects. The poems range from gritty and raw, like "It's Inside You Now" and "And So I Am," to light and whimsical, as in "Journeying" and "Spiral." Natalie is inspired by Patti Smith, Lydia Lunch, and all of "Kicks Joy Darkness".
