Using photos, biofacts (skins, shells, and skeletons), and live animals, we’ll explore the natural history and survival strategies of these fascinating—and often misunderstood—creatures.

Russ Walker is a retired teacher from the Houston ISD Outdoor Education Center. He holds a BS in Biology and Environmental Science and is co-founder of the East Texas Herpetological Society. Russ has a lifelong passion for wildlife.

Registration is free for members, with a suggested $10 donation for non-members. Children 12 and under are free, but please be sure to reserve a spot for them.
