Fun for the whole family, this program introduces reptiles with a focus on species found in the Catskill Mountains. Using photos, biofacts (skins, shells, and skeletons), and live animals, we’ll explore the natural history and survival strategies of these fascinating—and often misunderstood—creatures.
Russ Walker is a retired teacher from the Houston ISD Outdoor Education Center. He holds a BS in Biology and Environmental Science and is co-founder of the East Texas Herpetological Society. Russ has a lifelong passion for wildlife.
Registration is free for members, with a suggested $10 donation for non-members. Children 12 and under are free, but please be sure to reserve a spot for them.
