Join us for a quiet morning at the Thomas Cole Site with a family-friendly program featuring a read-aloud, hands-on artmaking, and a guided museum tour. Families will explore artwork, create their own paintings with museum staff, stroll through the gardens, and enjoy a storytime led by Catskill Public Library staff.
The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is the former home of Hudson River School of Art founder, Thomas Cole. Located in the village of Catskill, the house, called Cedar Grove, and Cole's studio are open for tours, events, and workshops throughout the year.
