On Sunday, May 17, all are invited to gather on the grounds of the Bronck House in Coxsackie for our annual Association Day. This event commemorates the 1775 signing of the Coxsackie Articles of Association and marks the kickoff of the summer season, featuring a fife and drum performance, historical lectures, and costumed interpreters.

Guided Stargazing Walk

Starlore Night invites visitors to experience the Great Northern Catskills after dark on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 8:00–10:00pm. Led by Greene Land Trust Stewardship Manager Justin Wexler, this guided evening of stargazing explores constellations and their cultural significance to Northeastern Native Peoples, all while the Perseid meteor shower brings the chance of shooting stars overhead. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chair and wear sturdy walking shoes for a short hillside walk to the viewing site. Cloud/rain date: Saturday, August 15, 8:00–10:00pm.

A Time Capsule Note to the Future: Prattville’s 250th Celebration

Be part of history during Note to the Future, a special community celebration marking the United States’ 250th anniversary in Prattville. Enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly fun on the Prattville Town Green featuring a parade, live music, local vendors, crafts for kids, food, a fire department touch-a-truck experience, chance auction and basket raffle, and more. Residents and visitors are invited to help create a lasting legacy by contributing letters, memories, drawings, photos, and personal notes to a time capsule that will be opened in 2075.
