Executive Chef, Chrissy Traore, has been working directly with farms for over a decade, and was most recently the chef at Westwind Orchard in Accord, NY. Having recently moved to neighboring Cairo, she comes from New York City, where she worked in the restaurant industry for the last 13 years.
Chef Traore works with local farmers, producers, and sources to craft the menu weekly. Trotwood strives to provide accessible comfort food for guests and locals alike with weekly specials featuring the freshest ingredients the region has to offer.
Some of Trotwood's dedicated farming and distribution partners include Bulich Creekside Farm in South Cairo, Stoneledge in South Cairo, Lime Kiln Farm in Coxsackie, Palatine Cheese in Nelliston, and Hudson Valley Harvest out of Kingston.
