Three Days of Big Laughs in Catskill, NY
October 16–18, 2026|Village of Catskill, NY
The Catskills Comedy Festival returns to the Village of Catskill October 16–18, 2026, bringing national, regional and local comedy talent to venues throughout the village. Now in its third year, the nonprofit festival packs three days with stand-up, improv, live performances, film, family entertainment and more—including both ticketed and free events.
This year, 14 events will take place at seven venues, all within walking distance in the Village of Catskill. Festival locations include the historic Community Theatre, Bridge Street Theatre, The Avalon Lounge, Café Joust, Chemistry Wine Bar, CITIOT and Left Bank Ciders.
See the 2026 Headliners & Lineup
Saturday night’s headline show at the Community Theatre features Jared Freid, whose newest Netflix special, The Family Plan, debuted in 2026. He’ll be joined by Tina Friml, named one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch in 2024, and Emmy-nominated comedian and writer Alex English.
The weekend lineup also includes Ophira Eisenberg, Jocelyn Chia, Raanan Hershberg, Sean Patton, John Hill, Eddie Brill, Nico Carney and more. But the Catskills Comedy Festival goes well beyond traditional stand-up. The 2026 schedule includes improv, a comedy panel, a film screening and Q&A, local comedy showcases, open mics and Grapes of Laughs, a comedy and wine pairing.

Comedy for the Whole Family
Bringing comedy to the community is part of the festival’s mission, with programming for younger audiences and aspiring performers, too. Saturday’s Comedy Cavalcade brings slapstick, music and physical comedy to Bridge Street Theatre, followed by an interactive workshop. On Sunday, kids ages 7–14 can take part in a free open mic and comedy workshop.

Festival proceeds help support free youth workshops and other accessible programming throughout the year.
Make a Weekend of It
With festival venues clustered throughout downtown Catskill, you can walk between performances while exploring the village’s restaurants, shops, galleries and historic Main Street. Stay for the weekend and make the Catskills Comedy Festival part of a fall getaway in the Great Northern Catskills.
Individual tickets and three-event festival passes are available at TCCFEST.org.
