The Old Catskill Game Farm - Abandoned Zoo

Self-guided tours and unique camping opportunities at the Old Catskill Game Farm.

The Game Farm was a zoo that was operational from 1933-2006 and once housed over 2,000 animals.  Among their collection included Giraffes, Rhinos, Pygmy Hippos, and much more. The zoo itself is approximately 150 acres with 3.5 miles of paved walkways and 130 structures. It is now often visited by people, for the sake of nostalgia, urban exploration, photography and/or a really interesting place to camp! Now, this abandoned zoo is visited by a variety of guests. Whether for the sake of nostalgia, historical exploration, unique photography opportunities or for a once-in-a-lifetime camping experience this is an attraction that you won't want to miss!
