Sugar Maples Center For Creative Arts is the studio arts program at Catskill Mountain Foundation. Located in the beautiful Catskill mountains of New York, the art center offers workshops by noted artists, residencies, weekly classes, special firings, college study programs, scholarships, festivals, exhibitions, retreats, and other art-related events. Speaker Series
The Speaker Series at Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts brings distinguished voices from the arts, writing, architecture, and the environment to share idea-driven talks that inspire learning and meaningful conversation. Free and open to the public, the series enriches the Catskill community while supporting the preservation of historic buildings in Maplecrest.

Art Explorers

Internships
Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts offers internships in its Ceramics, Fibers, and 2D studios, providing hands-on experience assisting visiting faculty and students. Interns engage in the dynamic summer workshop program, contribute to special projects and events, and immerse themselves in the inspiring setting of New York’s Catskill Mountains.

Scholarships
A discretionary 50% scholarship is awarded by the Catskill Mountain Foundation Board and Administration. It recognizes individuals who demonstrate merit and promise, with the potential to contribute meaningfully to the artistic community of the Catskill Mountain Foundation and the Sugar Maples Center for Creative Arts.
