Ruthann Gallery

Ruthann is a contemporary art gallery and project space on Main Street in Catskill, NY, dedicated to inclusivity and community engagement. Showcasing local and regional artists, the gallery highlights underrepresented contemporary voices across diverse media. Co-directed by artists Georgia Elrod and Witts, Ruthann fosters a dynamic creative environment through exhibitions, workshops, pop-ups, performances, and collaborative projects.

Souveni is a group exhibition inspired by the poem of the same title by Edna St. Vincent Millay, and curated by Jeff Bailey. The poem’s breezy, sharp recollections of shared time and fleeting moments set the tone for works exploring intimacy, affection, humor, sadness, absence, and memory.
