May 4-October 27 Experience "Native Prospects: Indigeneity and Landscape," a captivating exhibition that juxtaposes an Indigenous perspective on land with Thomas Cole's American landscape paintings. Curated by Scott Manning Stevens, PhD, this exhibition intertwines 19th-century paintings by Cole featuring Native figures with historic and culturally significant Indigenous works. Explore contemporary artworks by Indigenous artists Teresa Baker, Brandon Lazore, Truman T. Lowe, Alan Michelson, and Kay WalkingStick, offering diverse insights into the relationship between land and culture.
