WNUF Halloween Special Screening
Get into the spooky spirit by joining Sleepover Trading Co. and Avalon Lounge on October 26th for a screening of the instant Halloween horror-comedy classic WNUF Halloween Special. Claiming to be a local news broadcast (complete with fake commercials!) from Halloween night in 1987 (but actually made in 2013), the film, shot entirely on vintage cameras, follows an investigative report into a haunted house that goes horribly wrong. This special screening will include an exclusive video introduction by director Chris LaMartina plus a pre-film clip show featuring specially curated 80s horror trailers & Halloween commercials. Special "trick or treat" goodie bags for the first 25 attendees! The pre-show will begin at 7pm at the Avalon Lounge (29 Church Street, Catskill, NY) and $5 tickets can be purchased at https://www.viewcy.com/e/wnuf_halloween_specia or at the door (space is limited). Come early to try the Avalon's amazing menu of Korean food, local beers and saki.
