May 17th, 2025 2-4 pm
Join the New Baltimore Conservancy this May for a guided walk with ethnobiologist Justin Wexler. Explore the forest through the lens of Northeastern Native languages, history, and folklore. As we observe spring wildflowers and active birdlife, we’ll discuss traditional plant medicines, Native bird lore, and how local bird populations have changed over the past 500 years.
We'll meet at the Hannacroix Creek parking lot. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and bring water.
Please see the New Baltimore Conservancy Facebook event for more details and to RSVP.
