'Outside The Lines' Students & Teachers Showcase at CREATE

Saturday, March 15th 2-5 PM: An opening reception, which coincides with the Catskill Gallery Crawl

Sunday, March 30th from 11 AM - 1 PM: a closing reception.

CREATE Council on the Arts is paying tribute to our region’s rising, young artists for National Youth Art Month with an exhibition celebrating both students and the teachers nurturing their talents. The forty-second annual "Outside The Lines" youth showcase is putting the spotlight on artwork by K-12th grade students and instructors from a dozen Greene, Columbia and Schoharie county schools. 

“Outside the Lines'' gives students the unique opportunity to exhibit their artwork in a professional gallery and allows visitors to see a wide cross-section of the diversity and promise of our region’s young, creative talent. CREATE’s extraordinary annual exhibit is made possible by the participation of numerous teachers, administrators, students and their families. 

Participating schools include: Cairo-Durham High School, Catskill Elementary, Catskill High School, Catskill Middle School, Coxsackie-Athens Elementary/Edward J Arthur, Coxsackie-Athens High School, Germantown Central School, Gilboa-Conesville Central School, Hudson High School, Montgomery C. Smith Elementary, Schoharie Elementary and Schoharie High School.

CREATE is located at 398 Main Street in Catskill and is open Fridays, 4pm-7pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am-6pm. The exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information, visit: www.CREATEcouncil.org.
