Sunday, June 22nd, 10 am - 12:30 pm
Join us for a guided nature walk and workshop to discover seasonal wild edible plants and fungi, learn how to gather them responsibly, and sample their unique flavors! In June, we’ll explore aromatic herbs, blooming elderberry, ripening berries, and milkweed buds, all at their seasonal peak. After a brief intro to foraging basics, we’ll wander through meadows and woodlands identifying edible and medicinal plants—as well as their look-alikes—before returning to taste some of our finds and enjoy pre-prepared foraged snacks.
Please note: this is a learning-focused walk, not a harvesting trip. Our goal is to build appreciation for the edible landscape and share safe, sustainable foraging knowledge.
Advance registration is required, and space is limited. Admission is included with an Eco Camp weekend stay. Book a weekend stay and join us for our Friday Night Fire with s'mores and stargazing, Saturday evening Night In The Forest walk, and this Foraging Workshop!
