Jerry Gretzinger is delighted to return to Bridge Street Theatre after performing in last December’s Singing Anchors’ Reunion Holiday Show. In Sinatra: The Man, The Myth, and The Music, he’s joined onstage by his wife, Erin, and longtime musical director, Jay Kerr.
Best known for his 20+ years as an Emmy-winning television newscaster in upstate New York, Jerry anchored for WRGB and WNYT—and some may also remember him as the face of Grasshopper Heating and Cooling. Onstage, he’s appeared in over 200 musicals and cabarets, with credits including Guys and Dolls, Chicago, Into the Woods, Evita, The Music Man, and Pippin, in which he recently played Charlemagne for Schenectady Light Opera Company. In 2018, Jerry and Jay Kerr co-wrote Frank ‘N Stein, a musical comedy built around Sinatra’s songs, which premiered at Fort Salem Theater. In 2023, he was named one of the Capital Region’s top actors by the Times Union. Offstage, Jerry serves as Associate Commissioner for Internal and External Affairs at the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports, leading communications and media relations.
Tickets are priced at $35 online and $40 at the door. Doors open at 1:15 PM.
