German Alps Fest
The very popular German Alps Festival will return to the Catskill Mountains
on Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th.
An all-star lineup includes German American entertainment from Munich
Germany starring the fabulous Bayrichen Hiatamaden, 18-time Grammy winner
Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra with Special guest Chris Caffery of the
Trans-Siberian Orchestra, The Adlers, The SPITZBUAM of NY, Schuhplattler
dancers and Local favorite DJ Frankieoke.
The event will be held at the spacious Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural and
Sports Centre in East Durham, NY. This venue has the largest dance floor in
the Northeast with a large area for many vendors and bars serving German and
domestic beer and food.
