Discover the beauty of natural pigments in this hands-on watercolor workshop at Mountain Top Arboretum in Tannersville, NY. On Wednesday, June 25 from 6–8 PM, plein air and abstract artist Laura Leigh Lanchantin will guide participants through the traditional process of making watercolor paint from Catskill and Appalachian rocks and clay. Learn about regional geology, pigment history, and artistic techniques as you create your own palette and original nature-inspired painting.
