Drinking the Catskills: Watershed Education Day

Cost of Admission: This day of programming is free. No pre-registration required. 

Join us for a day dedicated to the watershed! Jamie Purinton will discuss the implementation and function of rain gardens and the role that plants play in purifying our water. Jamie is the Landscape Architect responsible for the design of the rain gardens around the Education Center. Afterwards Executive Director of the Arboretum, Marc Wolf will lead us through native tree identification and speak on the role trees play in water quality and stream health. The day will culminate with a performance of ‘City that Drinks the Mountain Sky’ by Arm of the Sea Theater. Bring the family and enjoy this day of free programming! Rain Date is August 1.
