Remember all those little things you’ve been missing? Camping with friends, going on hikes, gathering around a bonfire and sharing old memories while making new ones? Well, it’s time to return to making little moments into big memories again.
The Great Northern Catskills region is reopening and here’s what you need to know before you visit:
- Lodging properties are reopening, but many are only accepting a limited number of reservations. Additionally, new and rigorous cleaning protocols will help ensure each guest checks into sparkling clean room. Contact the individual properties with questions before booking.
- Many stores are reopening and asking that all visitors and shoppers wear masks. Additionally, many stores are limiting the number of customers allowed inside at a time to ensure everyone maintains proper distancing.
- Restaurants, cafes, breweries, and diners are now open! Feast outside, at home, trailside, and on the water! Use TakeOutinGreene.com to find participating restaurants and order your favorite dishes.
- Kaaterskill Falls is currently closed to the public, however the viewing platform is open. It is currently overcrowded so we are recommending alternative waterfall hikes.
As our attractions, facilities, and popular spots reopen, we will update this page to keep you in the know. Keep in touch on social media at Instagram.com/catskilltourism and Facebook.com/greatnortherncatskills.
Be well and we hope to see you soon,
