The lush hills & mountainous landscapes of the Great Northern Catskills historically attracted German and Irish emigres, and the celebration of both culture’s food and festivities remain vibrant here. Add to that the recent influx of artists, chefs and other creators from nearby New York City, who are reviving small towns and historic old warehouses and buildings into destinations for great food and the arts.
