Windham Mountain is the Northeast's Premier Alpine Lifestyle Since 1960
Windham Mountain is more than a ski resort – it's a year-round destination (and the official winter destination of the New York Yankees!). Renowned for its family-friendly alpine atmosphere in winter, Windham offers beginner-to-expert terrain perfect for cruising and après ski entertainment. Experience the new Wolf's Prey trail located at the top of the mountain in the Wilderness Bowl - a new blue-square trail that marks the beginning of the terrain expansion between the East and West peaks. At the bottom of the mountain, relax and revive at the new Alpine Spa at Windham Mountain Resort, or warm up in the newly renovated Seasons Restaurant on the 3rd floor - complete with spectacular views, vaulted ceilings, 2 bars and 2 fireplaces.
Named the "most accessible ski resort in New York" by Ski Magazine twice, Windham Mountain is easy to get to, with a resort village that offers small-town charm. Touted as the premier alpine destination of the Great Northern Catskills, Windham offers a variety of on and off hill options perfect for families - go night skiing, have fun tubing, and enjoy annual events that span seasons and cultures at Windham Mountain ski resort. Year-Round Fun at Windham Mountain
Windham Mountain offers the whole alpine skiing and riding package with 10 lifts, including two detachable high-speed quads, and 53 trails across 282 acres. For the freestyle minded, five terrain parks provide an endless playground for skiers and riders to practice tricks and tucks in a secure setting. Windham Mountain's Snow Sports School offers hands-on personal instruction for children and adults to ensure that each student excels on the slopes. Lift ticket deals and special discounts are available, so you can ski and save throughout the winter season.
Adding to the alpine fun, Windham Mountain offers a series of winter events that celebrate snow and enliven the coldest days of winter. Ski races and holiday events offer on-mountain fun, while Windham Mountain's annual Bavarian Fest celebrates the region's heritage and culture with food, drink and dancing. In March, warmer temperatures mean spring skiing conditions and two anticipated festivals, the Irish I Was Skiing/Riding Festival and the Parrothead Spring Fling Festival. From a skiing leprechaun to a slope-side"beach" bash – Windham is the place to celebrate spring's arrival. Enjoy athletic races and family-friendly festivals throughout the summer and fall, and test your skills on our newly-opened lift-service mountain bike park catering to riders of all ages and abilities.
