Hand-Crafted Brews to Warm the Cockles of Your Heart

Close your eyes and think of fall. Remember the rush of jumping into a pile of leaves, the smell of crisp apples, the excitement of looking forward to Halloween. Now, what does fall mean? Pumpkin spice lattes and apple picking for Instagram. Forget that! Come to the Catskills this fall and take a grown-up's tour of fall treats on the Catskill Beverage Trail. The beverage trail, a series of five breweries and one winery, offers hand-crafted brews and carefully selected wines perfect for a fall traveler such as yourself.

This fall, sip your way through the Catskills and leave the leaf peeping to the birds!

West Kill Brewing Taster
West Kill Brewing

Leaf Peep This! West Kill Brewing, the freshman Beverage Trail enrollee, is "on a dead end road in the heart of the Catskills." Frankly, they're right on the money – and boy! does this place offer big payoffs. The brewers use locally grown and foraged Catskills ingredients, from maple sap to spruce tips, to create unique flavors that are anything but ordinary and all the more delicious for it. Opening in September, the tasting room will welcome beer fans every Saturday from noon to 5 pm all year long. West Kill offers beer tastings, crowlers and growler fill-ups. New lagers and saisons are also in the mash for fall, so stay tuned....
