Summer Camp - Science on the Farm

Summer Camp - Science on the Farm

A weekly program for children that want to experience farm life.

This unique farm program provides an opportunity for your child to experience farm life through the eyes of a scientist.  Campers will have fun all week participating in child-centered activities that engage their natural curiosity.  Our science sleuths will grow and harvest vegetables, investigate seeds and learn how plants make food.  They will participate in science experiments ranging from making cheese and ice cream to extracting DNA from our homegown strawberries.  Every day we will visit and feed our cows, horses, goats, chicks and sheep.  Your child will love Archie, our new baby lamb and Moe, our pig that fascinates everyone she meets.  On Friday we will take a wagon ride to visit our Corrientes in their natural habitat.  Program runs from July 23rd through July 27th from 9am-1pm.  Cost of admission is $195 for the 1 week session and each session is limited to 15 students.
